See walk-in and scheduled patients of every age alongside Dr. Zaheen, in a family practice that has served North Andover for more than 25 years.
About the role
We are a small primary care and walk-in clinic. Many of our patients have been with us for years, and many arrive the same day something goes wrong. You will look after both.
Most testing happens on site, including LabCorp draws, EKG, and rapid COVID-19, flu and strep tests, so you can usually reach a diagnosis in a single visit.
What you will do
- Provide primary and walk-in care for adults and families.
- Diagnose and treat acute illness, minor injuries, and long-term conditions.
- Order and interpret in-house tests and LabCorp results.
- See patients by telehealth when they cannot come in.
- Keep clear, timely notes in the electronic health record.
- Work closely with our nurses and front desk, and coordinate referrals with specialists and hospitals.
What you will bring
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Active, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Current DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration, or eligibility.
- Comfortable with the pace of walk-in care.
Good to have
- Experience in outpatient primary care or urgent care.
- Spanish, Urdu or Hindi. Many of our patients speak one of them.
