Nurse practitioner
Care for walk-in and scheduled patients as part of a close team, with Dr. Zaheen on hand for advice and collaboration.
About the role
You will see a wide mix of patients, from same-day illness and minor injuries to routine follow-up for ongoing conditions.
With testing on site and a team that knows its patients well, you can give people a complete answer in one visit.
What you will do
- Assess, diagnose and treat walk-in and scheduled patients.
- Order and interpret in-house tests and LabCorp results.
- Prescribe and manage medications within your scope of practice.
- Offer telehealth visits.
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and follow-up care.
- Document every visit clearly in the electronic health record.
What you will bring
- MSN or DNP from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC).
- Active Massachusetts RN and APRN licenses, or eligibility.
- DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration, or eligibility.
- Current BLS certification.
Good to have
- Experience in primary care, urgent care or family practice.
- Spanish, Urdu or Hindi.
